Radiant Black Is Getting an SDCC 2026 Exclusive Funko Pop — And It Glows in the Dark

Radiant Black SDCC 2026 exclusive Funko Pop figure with glow-in-the-dark hand and chest effects

San Diego Comic-Con runs July 22–26, and if you’re a Massive-Verse fan, there’s one exclusive worth keeping on your radar: Radiant Black’s very first Funko Pop. Creator Kyle Higgins walked through the figure in a video with co-host Michael Busuttil, and it’s shaping up to be one of the more distinctive comic-exclusive Pops of the show.

It’s a good stretch to be a Massive-Verse fan in general — this Funko is arriving in the same window as Radiant Black’s first-ever audiobook adaptation, which is already streaming on Spotify, Libro.fm, and other platforms. Between the two, Image Comics is clearly investing in taking the franchise beyond the page ahead of the con.

The Figure

The Pop is based on art from series artist Marcelo Costa and features Radiant Black in a dynamic, wide-stance pose with translucent power effects wrapped around both hands — a nice departure from the usual straight-standing Pop format. It’s also built to stand on its own without a base, which isn’t always a given with more action-posed figures.

The real standout is the glow-in-the-dark work. Fluorescent paint hits three spots: the eyes, the chest emblem, and the accretion disc effect around the hands — a small design touch that ties directly into the character’s black-hole-adjacent powers.

Availability

This is a San Diego Comic-Con 2026 exclusive, limited to 5,000 units. Funko hasn’t locked in the exact rollout plan for attendees yet, so keep an eye on Funko’s official SDCC 2026 page for booth and lottery specifics as the show gets closer.

Higgins also mentioned he’ll be doing signings tied to the figure at both the Comic Sketch Art booths and the Image Comics booth throughout the convention, so if you’re attending SDCC in person, that’s worth building into your schedule.

Higgins noted that if this release performs well, it could open the door to more widely available Radiant Black collectibles down the line — so this one may end up being a bellwether for future Radiant Black merch beyond the con-exclusive space.

Should You Have This on Your Radar?

For Massive-Verse fans, this will be the first Funko treatment the character’s gotten, which alone makes it worth watching for — LE 5,000 with glow-in-the-dark detailing tends to hold value well once a con sells out. If you can’t make it to SDCC in person, this is a good one to bookmark: keep an eye on the secondary market and Funko.com in case any exclusives get an online release window during or after the show.
