Following the excellent Phantom Corps Trooper from earlier a few months back, this figure continues the trend of sharp, military-inspired designs that lean futuristic without feeling exaggerated or cartoonish. Its textured sculpt, clean camouflage, and grounded tactical elements give it a distinct presence that fits seamlessly alongside modern 1/12 military lines. As an introduction to the Skeletron lineup, this trooper sets the bar impressively high.

The Jungle Wolf Trooper delivers on just about every level. The camo looks fantastic, the accessories are smartly designed, and the sculpt/engineering strike a great balance between realistic and futuristic. The only thing that would have pushed it further is an extra head sculpt—something many modern lines have conditioned us to expect—but its absence is far from a deal breaker.
As a first experience with the Skeletron line, this figure leaves a very strong impression. If future releases maintain this level of quality, I’ll definitely be adding more to the collection. This is a sharp, stylish, and highly poseable troop builder that fits beautifully into any modern military or sci-fi display.
